BUSINESS WITH IMPACT
Description
BUSINESS WITH IMPACT - an afternoon that accelerates your business journey Building businesses is never as glamorous as it looks on LinkedIn. During BUSINESS WITH IMPACT, an official side event within Stockholm ImpACT Days, you will hear how businesses are actually built - by founders who have done the work themselves and by business advisors who help others take the step from idea to business every day. This is an active afternoon where conversations on stage alternate with open blocks for business advising and mingling. Drop-in and drop-out: come for a session, have a meeting, work for a while, or stay the whole way. The business advisors are on-site and you decide how to use your time. Coworking is open and free all week during ImpACT Days. You will leave with concrete insights, practical tools, and new contacts - whether you are just starting out or already running a company that is set to grow. The moderator for the day is Ruthie Semere, co-founder of Women of Color in Biz. Here’s what the afternoon looks like 14.30 Doors open. Refreshments. Business advisors and partners present. 15.00 Welcome from the organizers: Entrepreneur Stockholm from the City of Stockholm, Impact Hub Stockholm, and CMNTY. 15.10 Keynote: Circular Business and Sustainability, with speaker Truls Christenson - Rscued/Unpeeled. From a restaurant kitchen, Truls built Rscued, a juice brand entirely based on food waste. In 2015 he co-founded the company at the age of 19 to save fruits and vegetables from being thrown away. In 2020, Rscued saved 388 tons of food. In 2023, the company was sold to Loviseberg Presseri Holding AB (owner of Råsaft). 15.30 Networking exercise → talk to 2-3 people you haven’t met before. The exercise concludes with mingling - take the opportunity to grab one of Entrepreneur Stockholm’s business advisors. 16.00 Panel discussion: Transforming an Existing Business - an insight into the Circular Transformation project at SMF, with an introduction by Josefine Mattsson, Coompanion, academic perspectives from Tomas Kjellqvist, Södertörns högskola, and concrete experiences from Langhard & Co and Bosse With Friends on how circular practices change business models, challenges, and opportunities in practice. Moderated by Björn Grann from Entrepreneur Stockholm. 16.40 Afternoon coffee and something lighter to eat.
