In this 90-minute interactive workshop, Adil-ul Islam will share practical strategies for building an AI-enabled startup, whether you're creating an AI product, integrating AI into an existing business, or using AI to increase productivity and scale with fewer resources. Drawing on his experience advising organisations on AI adoption, building AI products, and leading technical teams, Adil will help founders understand how to identify high-value opportunities for AI, choose the right tools and technologies, and avoid common mistakes that waste time and money. The session will explore how startups can build effective AI systems, develop the skills needed to work alongside AI, and create a strong foundation for future growth. The workshop will conclude with a 30-minute Q&A, giving founders the opportunity to ask questions about their own ventures, product ideas and AI implementation challenges. Adil-ul Islam is an AI advisor, entrepreneur and technical leader specialising in AI adoption, workforce skilling and intelligent automation. He currently serves as an AI Advisor to the United Nations, alongside roles as an AI Consultant and Skilling Specialist at ivee and an AI Skilling & DevOps Engineer at simplexico. Adil is the Co-Founder and CTO of Sirr (on the LSE Generate Fellowship accelerator), an AI-guided wellbeing platform informed by Islamic psychology and community needs, where he leads the company's technical vision and product development. He is also the CEO of YUKEN, an organisation that helps businesses build AI and automation systems while equipping teams with the skills needed to thrive in an AI-powered world.
