Build a working AI project at this hands-on workshop hosted by [Make](https://www.createwith.com/tool/make) in [Barcelona](https://www.createwith.com/cities/barcelona) on 18 September 2026. Designed as a practical lead-up to AI Summit Barcelona 2026, this four-hour, laptop-open session prioritises making over passive listening: arrive with a clear idea and leave having built something tangible. ## What to expect The workshop runs from **5:00pm to 9:00pm GMT+2** at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. After a quick introduction and framing session, attendees will split into focused groups of five to ten people. Each group will follow a shared curriculum with guidance from an experienced lead, creating space for personal support, faster progress and practical problem-solving. The evening includes: - A concise introduction to set goals and frame the build - A substantial hands-on AI project session in small, led groups - A short Q&A about ethical AI and responsible building - Networking at the end of the evening, sponsored by Make Every attendee will receive **25,000 Make credits**, enabling participants to experiment during the workshop and continue developing automations and AI agents afterwards. It is aimed at builders ready to create something real, including aspiring founders and professionals who want to automate processes or improve how they work with AI. The workshop centres women and non-binary people building with AI. Men are welcome when attending alongside a woman or non-binary participant. Bring your own laptop and come prepared with a specific project idea you want to explore. Attendance is application-based and places are limited. The hosts review every registration to keep groups focused and working at a similar level, so applicants should answer the registration questions clearly and explain what they intend to build.
