Meet the presenter: Dr Christopher Lawson is a marine ecologist whose work combines quantitative ecology, technology and community participation to improve marine conservation. After research on fisheries, shark and ray physiology, biologging and environmental change, he shifted toward coral reefs, developing scalable monitoring approaches that integrate citizen science, artificial intelligence and data-driven decision-making.
