Hello, this is GPTaku. At a typical hackathon, everyone gathers but ends up working on their own without saying a word, and once the awards are announced, they disperse. It’s hard to even say hello to the team next to you. Meetups have great lectures, but many times we spend time listening to topics set by sponsors without any meaning. AI is no longer the exclusive domain of developers. We felt the need for an event that can be enjoyed by the general public, where people from different backgrounds sit together to exchange insights. So, we created it ourselves.Fortunately, Aarkpoint, who shared the same thoughts, lent a hand to co-host this event together. Since this format is something that has never existed before, we're starting with a test run for the first edition. The event will be held on July 25th, and the space is sponsored by AOM, which is developing Apartment Pool.Here's how it will go: On the day, the theme will be revealed, and avatars will present their issues for one minute each on stage. Advisors who want to help will raise their hands and through conversation, they will become 1:1 teams. For two hours, Avatarthon will be developed by the avatars, while advisors provide coaching verbally from the side. The five teams selected through evaluations will present, and rankings will be decided by votes from the attendees. After that, it’s all about networking.Which side are you on?There are two groups participating in Avatarthon. The avatars bring their own issues and directly take action, while advisors provide skill support verbally from the side. They are pairs learning from each other. Meetups and observers are not participants but the audience. They will closely observe presentations, matching, and pair work without disrupting the process, and continue with topic-specific coffee chats and networking in separate spaces.
