AI+X Future Summit 2026
Description
- Event Background As the core sub-forum concurrently held during the 31st Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF), this summit takes full advantage of MIF, a UFI-certified international economic and trade event, and the unique advantages of Macao's "Service Platform for Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries." Launched in 1996, MIF has developed into one of the most influential annual international exhibitions in Macao. According to previous data, during the three exhibitions combined, the exhibition area reached nearly 30,000 square meters, gathering over 1,500 booths and over 1,100 exhibitors, attracting more than 16,000 professional visitors and 85,000 attendees, resulting in over 140 signed projects and over 56,000 views for online live streaming. These figures fully demonstrate the strong resource aggregation and transformation capabilities of MIF. This year’s MIF continues to be held concurrently with the “2026 Portuguese-Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (PLPEX)” and the “Macao International Brand Franchise Expo 2026 (MFE)”, forming a synergistic effect of the "three exhibitions combined." Among them, PLPEX is also UFI certified, focusing on unique products and services from Portuguese-speaking countries; MFE has long been focused on brand franchising and two-way investment. This composite exhibition ecosystem provides a cross-industry, cross-region, and multi-scenario dialogue space for AI topics, enabling artificial intelligence companies to connect directly with investment firms, industrial funds, cross-border trade resources, and international market channels. 2. Summit Positioning and Core Goals The AI+X Future Summit 2026 aims to build an industry docking platform for the deep integration of artificial intelligence and the real economy, closely aligning with the Macao Special Administrative Region’s “1+4” moderately diversified economic development plan (comprising comprehensive tourism and leisure industry + big health, modern finance, high-tech, and exhibition and trade as four key industries), as well as the “Four New Industries” collaborative mechanism of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone. At the same time, the summit responds to the national “14th Five-Year Plan” strategic direction regarding “embodied intelligence,” “artificial intelligence +”, and new forms of the smart economy, striving to make Macao a key node connecting the mainland and overseas, technology and capital, scenarios and policies. The summit is not just a forum of ideas but emphasizes a five-in-one functional design of policy interpretation, project roadshows, capital matching, scenario demonstrations, and regional collaboration. Through precise matchmaking, it promotes the transition of AI technology from concept to practical application, helping enterprises find pathways under the framework of the Macao-Guangdong integration, and injecting new momentum into Macao's construction as an “International Science and Technology Industrial Center.” 3. Topic Settings and Content Sections This summit will deeply explore the following core topics: The summit will also establish a showcase experience area to allow participants to intuitively experience the cutting-edge achievements of AI technology empowering real industries, and will organize closed-door roundtable meetings to facilitate deep communication between government and enterprises. 4.
