AI Transformation Day

Welcome to AI Transformation Day! The approach to AI transformation requires both:guidance on direction and adjustment in the steps. On the one hand, they need to provide enough structure to create security in dealing with uncertainty. On the other hand, they must be flexible enough to respond to new insights and different situations – both central and decentralized. It is beyond question that both are necessary. The challenge is the operational implementation in practice. 3 Perspectives We look at AI transformation from three perspectives: • Why? What strategic goals do we pursue with AI and what future do we want to achieve for our organization? • What? Which aspects of the organization need to change and which dimensions of change need to be actively shaped? • How? What approach and what (change) activities help to concretely shape and implement these changes? These three perspectives form the common thread throughout the day. Together, we will examine the entire path of a successful AI transformation – from strategic framing to shaping the content of change to implementation in everyday life. 2 Models The foundation for the exchange consists of two models that have proven effective and complement each other. The design model describes the content changes in AI transformation: from technology and business model to competencies and leadership, up to structure and culture. It helps organizations understand what needs to change, determine their own position in the transformation process, and set the next stage. Building on this, the process model addresses the question of how these fundamental changes can be concretely shaped and successfully implemented. It is a further development of our Truly Adaptive Transformation Framework, which we have adapted to AI as a context and expanded with AI as a tool. Together, the two models form our design and implementation model for AI transformation. One week after AI Transformation Day, the materials presented, results from small groups, and gathered insights will be shared with all participants. On October 23, 2026, the AI Leadership Day will take place additionally, during which we will focus on the (personal and organizational) challenges for leaders and provide practical tips for working with AI and leading human-agent teams.
