Topic: Am I utilizing AI properly right now? Subtitle: From research to AI search reputation and crisis response, utilizing AI in PR practice and judgment criteria Date: July 24, 2026 (Friday) 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM Location: Celltrion Skin Cure — 601 Gangnam-daero, Seocho-gu, Seoul (Exit 4, Sinsa Station), Seminar Room B1 Capacity: Approximately 30-40 people Target Audience: PR practitioners and experts from various industries (in-house PR, PR agencies, public institution promotion, solo PR, content marketing, etc.) Participation Fee: 10,000 KRW (for dinner and no-show prevention) Hello, You are invited to the second meeting of the AI PR Forum. AI has already reduced many repetitive tasks in PR practice. It is now possible to process reading article and community reactions, comparing competitor messages, drafting press releases and anticipated Q&A, and converting materials into newsletters, LinkedIn posts, and card news in much shorter time frames than before. However, the essence of PR is not just about producing faster. We must examine how our company is understood by journalists, what promises it is perceived to make to customers and investors, and how generative AI summarizes our company in a sentence. Ultimately, PR is about accurately explaining the organization to the world and earning its trust. In this meeting, we can categorize the PR workflow into various areas such as research, monitoring, strategy formulation, message design, media relations, content creation, campaign dissemination, internal communication, digital and AI reputation management, crisis response, and performance measurement. We will condense related tasks into four scenes and organize where AI can be utilized and where human judgment is necessary. Reading - Selecting important signals from articles, SNS, communities, competitors, and customer reactionsWriting - Creating strategies, press releases, planning materials, Q&A, interview materials, and contentConnecting - Disseminating messages through campaigns, internal communication, newsrooms, and search environmentsProtecting - Verifying facts and maintaining organizational trust during issues and crisis situations The key question of this presentation is as follows: “In the age of AI, is our company being accurately explained?” Presenter: Kim Yeonji (LinkedIn account) Presenter Kim Yeonji is a former journalist with 11 years of experience, having served as the head of PR for an IT company for 5 years and is currently the marketing lead at DavinAI. During her journalist days, she received awards including the Journalist of the Year Award, Korea Broadcasting Award, Monthly Journalist Award, and Science Journalism Award. In the field of journalism, she experienced the process of transforming messages from companies and institutions into articles, and what facts reporters verify and what expressions they doubt. Later, in corporate PR, she was responsible for overall external communications of the organization, including official positions, executive messages, media responses, crisis communication, and brand reputation management. This session will cover how to utilize AI within the PR workflow rather than just listing the functions of specific AI tools and where human judgment is absolutely necessary. Contents to be discussed in the session How to summarize key issues from monitoring articles, SNS, communities, and competitors, and connect them to PR strategies How to organize official facts and possible disclosure areas before drafting press releases and anticipated Q&A How to verify sentences created by AI from a journalist’s perspective How to convert one official document into various channel contents such as newsletters, LinkedIn posts, and sales FAQs How to reflect incorrect or missing company information from AI search results in newsrooms, FAQs, websites, and external announcements Criteria for input, verification, and approval when dealing with sensitive information such as undisclosed performance, contract conditions, personal information, and crisis response drafts AI can quickly generate sentences. However, reporters look for missing facts and unverified expressions in those sentences. Especially in crisis situations, it is safer to utilize AI as a 'question generator' rather than a 'response generator.' We need to first clarify what confirmed facts and unconfirmed facts are, what reporters and customers will inquire, what information can be shared now and what assumptions should still be withheld, and what to verify and how to explain to whom in the next 24 hours. Whether to apologize, the scope of acknowledging responsibility, the appearance of the CEO, language to use with victims, and the distinction between legal and moral responsibilities cannot be determined by AI. This is precisely where a PR practitioner's judgment is necessary. Discussion topics to share together At which stage does AI provide the most significant assistance in PR work? What should PR do when AI inaccurately describes our company? How should the company's newsroom, FAQ, website, and external announcements change in the age of AI searches? In an era where production speed is accelerated, how should a PR practitioner's competitiveness be assessed? Process 6:30 – 7:00 | Networking A time for newcomers to comfortably greet each other and share their experiences regarding AI utilization. 7:00 – 7:40 | Topic Presentation Kim Yeonji will present on the topic
