Join us for an in-person AI Learn and Lead Session This interactive, in-person session is delivered across two blocks: a morning session focused on strategy and an interactive afternoon session Morning Session | 9:30 am – 12:00 pm The morning session will explore the University's AI strategy, including its vision and priorities across: • Education • Digital • Research Lunch (Provided) | 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm Afternoon Session | 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm The afternoon session focuses on the University's new GenAI tool and the broader AI ecosystem available to staff. You'll learn what tools are available, when and why to use them, and where to access support. 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm | Getting Familiar with Our New GenAI Tool • Introduction to the University's new GenAI tool, including how, when, and where it can be accessed. • A live, interactive demonstration showing how the tool can be used to solve real workplace challenges. • Practical examples and opportunities to ask questions throughout the session. 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm | Which AI Tool Should I Use? • An overview of the AI tools currently available across the University. • Guidance on selecting the right tool for different tasks and use cases. • Information on how to access each tool and where to find further support. 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm | Understanding AI at the University • Meet the teams responsible for managing and supporting the University's AI tools. • Learn which teams to contact for different AI-related needs and projects. • A panel discussion and Q&A session where you can ask questions, share ideas, and discuss how AI can support your work.
