AI for Data Analytics [Location TBD]

Please note: CBRIN (1 Moore Street) is currently closed and the venue will be confirmed - it will be nearby in Canberra City. Across sectors, organisations are working with ever-larger and more complex data sets while being required to provide sound, defensible analysis and explain it clearly to others. This workshop starts from those shared pressures and creates a practical space to explore how people are making sense of data today, alongside the opportunities opened up by new AI tools. This workshop will combine discussion with hands-on activities to explore how AI can support data analytics, interpretation and communication in practical ways. Participants will experiment with AI tools, including CoPilot, ChatGPT, and Claude, as part of understanding how AI can augment existing skills and workflows. The session will support participants to develop shared ways of working with data and AI that strengthen decision-making, transparency and confidence in their own organisational contexts. AI CoLab events are intentionally open and collaborative. We capture photos, audio, and AI-generated transcripts so we can remix key insights for the AI CoLab Alliance community.
