AI Engineers Barcelona is a technical meetup for active AI builders, taking place on Monday 24 August 2026 from 19:00–22:00 at Alice Secret Garden. If you are coding an LLM application, AI agent, RAG system or another AI product, this meetup offers a focused space to share your work and meet people tackling similar engineering challenges. Rather than general discussion about the potential of AI, the emphasis is firmly on **building**: attendees are asked to bring a laptop and show what they are working on. ## Who it’s for The meetup is designed for: - Engineers actively developing AI projects - Technical founders building AI products - Researchers working on practical AI systems The organisers make the audience criteria clear: this is not intended as a general networking event or an introduction for people who are simply “AI curious”. You will get the most from the evening if you already have a technical project, prototype, experiment or implementation to discuss. ## What to expect The event runs for three hours in [Barcelona](https://www.createwith.com/cities/barcelona), creating time for technical conversations, project sharing and connections between developers. Bring your laptop so you can demonstrate your current build, explain the problem you are solving and compare approaches with other practitioners working across LLM apps, agents and retrieval-augmented generation. There is no published speaker programme or formal talk schedule. The defining feature is its builder-led format: the projects and engineering experiences brought by attendees form the focus of the evening.
