Description
Presented by VECTOR (A7V) AI Certificate Program AI 301: Application in the Classroom/Workspace Length: Two-half day (Sep 15 & 29) Modality: Face-to-face Description: AI 301 moves participants from foundational AI knowledge to practical application in their teaching and professional environments. This hands-on course explores how generative AI can be intentionally integrated into classroom and workplace activities to improve learning, productivity, assessment, and decision-making. Participants will apply AI tools and strategies to real-world challenges within their specific roles. Faculty will focus on designing AI-enabled assignments, developing assessment strategies, and establishing effective course policies. Students and other learners will explore how to use AI to complete assignments, incorporate rubrics, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and demonstrate learning through responsible AI use. By the end of the course, participants will have practical, role-specific strategies for incorporating AI into their existing workflows while considering academic integrity, responsible AI use, evaluation, and human judgment. The overall program will cover AI 101, 201, 301, and 401. By the end of the two-day course, participants will be equipped with practical strategies for responsibly leveraging AI to enrich their courses while preserving academic rigor and human-centered learning.
