AI-Powered Job Search & Career Readiness Workshop A live, hands-on workshop for anyone who has been laid off, is unemployed, is looking for a job, or is considering a career change. You’ll learn how to use AI to make your job search easier and more effective, while also getting clearer on your strengths, skills, identity, and next career move. We will first connect with others in a similar position and reflect on who you are outside of your job. The workshop also includes an identity exercise centered on the idea that your work is not your worth. Participants will help shape the workshop by voting on the topics they most want to cover. Topics: • Use AI to find jobs you might not know about • Use an Ikigai exercise to explore the intersection of what you love, what you’re good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for • Tailor your résumé for specific roles and ATS systems to reduce the chances of being automatically screened out • Identify your transferable skills and learn how to communicate them • Use AI to prepare for interviews, role-play interview scenarios, and practice your answers • Learn how to build experience in a new field, even if you haven’t worked in that field before • Assemble a portfolio of past work, projects, and new work that demonstrates your skills • Understand how to apply AI to your current profession or desired field so you can become more AI-enabled and stand out in the job search process You’ll also receive practical resources to support your confidence, wellbeing, and career transition. If time permits, we will talk through how to dentify your strengths and overcome your inner critic. You’ll leave with: A clearer understanding of how to use AI throughout the job search process, from exploring career options and finding opportunities to applying, interviewing, building experience, and staying competitive in your field. You’ll also leave with useful AI prompts, interview-prep tools, career reflection exercises, and a personalized action plan you can start using right away. No AI or technical experience is required.
