Description
Networking event + Claude Code study session "Setting up + Creating skills to automate notes" Participation fee: 2,000 yen (venue fee) *Networking event is an additional 4,000 yen (optional) "Not through the screen, but working side by side." ▼ Limited to 40 participants. Please register from the "Register" button at the top of the page. Event Overview This is not your usual online seminar; it's a gathering in Chiba. The venue is a 3-minute walk from Abiko Station on the Joban Line. Bring your laptops, and both the instructor and participants will work together in the same room. The main theme is "Claude Code: Setting up + Creating skills to automate notes." Starting from installing Claude Code on your PC, you will create a "Note Skill" on the spot and automate the process of taking notes. It's designed for those who have never touched a terminal before, so if you’ve heard of Claude Code but haven’t gotten past installation, this is for you. The latter part will be a networking workshop among participants. The content will be revealed on the day itself, offering a chance to speak face-to-face with people you've only known by name online. Schedule of the Day What we will do in the main session: 1. Setting up Claude Code We will complete the installation, login, and type in the first command together on-site. This is where offline events shine, allowing you to get help while solving errors that often stop participants in online settings. 2. Creating a Note Skill and automating notes Using Claude Code’s "skill" feature, you will create a personalized note skill. Once created, you just need to say "Take a note," and it will save notes in the specified format. Once you experience how to create a skill, you can apply the same steps to other tasks. 3. Networking Workshop Content will be announced on the day. For those who have kept their AI discussions to themselves, the value of this time will be significant. What you gain from participation: First, you will leave with Claude Code running on your own PC. Overcoming the initial setup barrier means that video and article content will quickly become your own. Next, you will have the experience of creating one skill. Even if the note skill seems small, you will gain understanding about "what a skill is," "how to create one," and "how to call it." From the next day, you can add skills tailored to your work, like formatting minutes or drafting blogs. Finally, you will connect with peers learning AI along the Joban Line. Whether you have someone to ask questions to on-site is crucial for sustainment. What to Bring: You can participate even if you don’t have a laptop, but in that case, you will be watching the instructor and others’ screens. If you want to work hands-on, please bring your own laptop.
