AI Afterwork: Agentic Stack
Description
Next Monday, September 14, we will kick off our event season, just days before the AI Summit Barcelona, alongside Gentleman Programming, in a new edition of our AI Afterworks. We will move from theory to practice with the leap from LLMs to agents (context, memory, and tools) and how prompts, RAG, and agents fit into the new stack, with Daniel Españadero, an educator with over 30,500 devs on YouTube. We will also build agentic apps with Angular + Genkit + Kendo UI with Dany Paredes, Google Developer Expert (GDE) in Angular, Progress Champion in Kendo UI, and former InnoIT.We will finish with Alan Buscaglia (Software Architect & Front-End Expert), creator of Gentleman Programming, a community of 100K+ subscribers on YouTube, to talk about AI, open source, and trust in building software in 2026.3 SESSIONS🎙️From zero to AI agents: what every developer needs to know, Daniel EspañaderoAI is no longer limited to answering questions; it can now analyze problems, make decisions, use tools, and execute tasks. In this talk, we will discuss the essential ideas that make generative AI work and the architecture of an agent with context, memory, and tools. We will see what really lies behind concepts such as language models, prompts, RAG, and agents, how they connect with each other, and why they are becoming a key piece of the new technological stack.🎙️ Create agentic applications with Angular, Genkit, and Kendo UI, Dany ParedesDon’t just create "chatbots that talk and respond"; let’s learn how to create applications that act by bridging the gap between chatbots and moving to autonomous agents using Genkit.🎙️ Building software in 2026: AI, open source, and trust, Alan BuscagliaWhat does it mean to build software when an AI can generate 94,000 lines of code in a weekend? It happened to me: a giant PR, built live with the community, which forced me to rethink everything I knew about reviewing, trusting, and collaborating. From that experience, RDD was born, a methodology where trust is not recalled but re-derived: each change is verified outside the model, with evidence tied to the content. In this talk, we will walk through that real story, the current state of open source in the age of agents, and how the role of the developer changes when AI writes and we direct. Spoiler: human judgment has never been as valuable as it is now. After the presentation, we will move on to our networking. Of course, with food 🍕 and drinks 🍻.👥Want to bring someone along?
