The Paris Peace Forum is launching a Call for AI Projects as part of the AI Action Summit, focusing on innovative solutions that leverage artificial intelligence to address global challenges. The initiative aims to support global efforts that ethically frame AI and improve citizens' lives, with an emphasis on engaging civil society and the global South.
Highlights
Hosted by France in partnership with India on February 10-11, 2025. Brings together nearly one hundred countries and over a thousand representatives from various sectors. Includes Heads of State and Government, leaders of international organizations, CEOs, academics, and civil society members. Focused on developing AI within a framework of shared trust, addressing risks and harnessing opportunities. The Paris Peace Forum is launching a Call for AI Projects to support global initiatives that ethically frame AI and improve citizens' lives. Emphasis on engaging civil society and the global South. Selected projects will be presented at the summit, providing an international platform for sharing inclusive solutions. The summit will address themes such as public interest AI, future of work, innovation and culture, trust in AI, and global AI governance. Aims to promote an ethical, sustainable, and inclusive approach to AI development and deployment. Part of the initiative includes the 'AI Convergence' challenges to showcase innovative projects tackling societal and technological issues.
