Hong Kong Youth AI Hackathon - Phase Four
Description
About A one-day AI hackathon for young creators aged 8–16. No experience needed — just bring your curiosity and a laptop. Participants will meet real AI robots, build a project from scratch with mentor support, and pitch it on stage. One weekend, one team, one working prototype. Whether they've never written a line of code or already build apps at home, this day is designed to turn "what if" into "I made this." What to Expect Meet the robots. Start the morning with a live demo of an AI coffee robot and an embodied intelligence robot — see how perception, decision, and action come together in a real machine. Build something real. After forming teams and picking a project idea, participants get three hours of focused build time. Mentors circulate throughout, helping teams debug, iterate, and ship. Pitch on stage. Every team presents their work in a 5-minute demo + Q&A. Judges comment on creativity, completion, technical depth, and storytelling. Teams walk away with certificates. Prize. 1st Place, $250 worth token, 2nd Place, $150 worth token, 3rd Place, $100 worth token. (Sponsored by WorldClaw) Who It's For Ages 8–16.
