AI + Coffee Manchester

AI + Coffee Manchester is a free, informal AI networking meetup at Campfield House in Greater Manchester on Sunday 13 September 2026, from 11am–12pm BST. Rather than sitting through presentations, you’ll spend an hour having open, in-person conversations over coffee at Department Coffee + Supplies, located inside Campfield House (M3 4FP). The event is built around a simple idea: while many AI events are designed to inform, AI + Coffee is designed to help people connect. ## No speakers, slides or fixed agenda Hosted by Grace H. and the AI + Coffee Manchester group, this meetup deliberately avoids the usual conference format. There are no talks to follow and nothing to prepare in advance. Instead, attendees shape the discussion through the questions, experiences and uncertainties they bring with them. Conversation may begin with prompts such as: - What are you currently trying with AI? - Which parts of AI still feel confusing? - What tools, approaches or experiments are actually working? You can arrive with a specific question, share something you have been experimenting with, or simply listen and learn from the room. The unstructured format leaves space for practical exchanges and unexpected conversations that might not emerge during a formal panel or workshop. ## Who is it for? Anyone curious about AI is welcome, regardless of role or experience level. You do not need a technical background, professional AI expertise or a polished project to take part. The event aims to provide a safe environment where people can ask basic questions, admit uncertainty and explore ideas without feeling that doing so creates a professional risk. That makes it relevant to complete beginners as well as people already testing AI in their work or personal projects.
