Food and drinks are provided thanks to Fin’s sponsorship. ## Talks and speakers ### Multiprocessing Is The Most Efficient Way To Serve Rails Apps Rails developers can choose between threads, fibers, forking and other approaches to concurrency,but deciding which model best fits a real Rails workload remains a long-running debate. **Jean Boussier** will make the case for multiprocessing, explain why it works particularly well for Rails applications, and examine the gains and trade-offs involved when choosing it over the alternatives. Jean is a Senior Principal Engineer at Fin, a member of Rails Core and a Ruby committer, bringing deep knowledge of both the framework and its underlying runtime. ### Ship Ship Ship: Putting Agents on Rails Building an AI agent is one challenge; repeatedly shipping reliable agents inside an established Rails codebase is another. **Ryan Sherlock** will discuss what it takes to move from experimentation to delivery without the system falling over. Expect a candid look at the patterns that proved effective, the approaches that did not hold up and the lessons Fin learned while running agent-based software in practice. Ryan is Senior Director of Engineering at Fin and will focus on maintaining delivery speed while integrating AI agents into real Rails systems. ## Who should attend?
