Agentic Hack: Payments & Robots One day. Build payments or robots that work. What is Build Bout? Build Bout is a focused, high energy, one day build sprint. It's simple: you arrive with an idea, you build it using Generative AI tools, and by end of day you demo a working product to a panel of judges. This is not a workshop. It's not a conference. It's a competition, and anyone with the drive to build something can enter. You don't need to know how to code. You need an idea worth fighting for and the energy to ship it in a day. What you'll build with Every participant gets full access to Emergent . One that lets you build complete, fulll stack, production ready web applications using plain language. No code required. You describe what you want to build and the AI builds it with you: frontend, backend, database, and all. This is the same category of technology powering the fastest growing startups in the world right now. Build Bout gives you a full day to explore it, with mentors beside you the whole way. What to build No fixed theme : the only rule is that your product must solve a real problem for real people and integrate with a payment platform. Great builds from similar events have included: If someone in Nakuru, or Kenya at large, they would use it, then, it's worth building. How you'll be judged How the day runs 8:00 AM: Doors Open & Check-in Grab breakfast, meet your fellow builders, settle in. 8:30 AM: Kick-off & Rules Quick briefing on the day's format, judging criteria, and a walkthrough of the GenAI tools you'll use to build. 9:00 AM: The Build Bout Begins Heads down. Build your product. Mentors circulate to help you unblock. Food and drinks are covered throughout. 1:00 PM : Lunch Break + Progress Check Step away from the screen, eat, and get a gut check from mentors before the final push. 2:00 PM: Final Build Sprint The last stretch. Polish your product, prepare your 3-minute demo pitch. 2:30 PM: Live Demos & Judging Selected teams present their product to our judges. 3 minutes to pitch, 2 minutes for Q&A. 6:00 PM: Winners Announced & Closing Prize awarded. Celebrate what you built. Network. Go home having shipped something real.
