ADAS, AV and AI Virtual Meetup

Explore how AI, machine learning and computer vision are shaping ADAS and autonomous vehicles at this online meetup on 17 September 2026, 9:00–11:00 AM PST. Hosted by the London AI, Machine Learning and Computer Vision Meetup, this two-hour virtual event brings together specialists from Porsche AG, Voxel51 and Dynamic Map Platform. The programme moves beyond model theory to examine the data, engineering and evaluation challenges involved in building autonomous systems that can operate reliably in the real world. ## Three expert-led talks AI for Autonomous Driving: From Data to Decisions Tin Stribor Sohn, a PhD student at Porsche AG and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Tech Lead in data-driven engineering for autonomous driving, will discuss modern AI across the automated-driving development process. Expect practical perspectives on interpreting large-scale driving data, evaluating AI-based behaviour on the road, where current methods perform well and which hard problems remain for ADAS and AV teams. Advancing ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle Development with Multimodal Data Murilo Gustineli, Machine Learning Engineer at Voxel51, will explore workflows for combining camera, video, LiDAR, radar and other sensor streams. Using FiftyOne’s multimodal capabilities as the context, he will cover visualisation, search, curation and evaluation techniques that help teams identify difficult scenarios, investigate model failures and improve system reliability. From Survey-Grade Maps to Physical AI Ryoto Miyake, Software Engineer at Dynamic Map Platform, will explain how survey-grade assets collected across 1.8 million kilometres of roads are transformed into datasets for training and simulation.
