Rewiring Biology Hackathon July 11 - July 12, 2026 | San Francisco, California Join us for a two day hackathon where ML engineers, AI scientists, and computational biologists build the tools that help science move faster. Event Partners Amazon Web Services (AWS), You.com Background Owkin has spent years building infrastructure and datasets at the intersection of AI and biomedical research. Combined with K Pro, Owkin’s AI Scientist, this creates a rare opportunity to explore how AI can genuinely accelerate the pace of biomedical discovery. What you will build Participants will build MCP tools and agentic components that extend what AI Scientists like K Pro can already do: biological reasoning, hypotheses and insights generation, and semi-autonomous exploration of research spaces. Your background and curiosity might be in AI and technology (agentic components, AI workflows, LLM-based reasoning, scientific tooling) or biology (computational biology, bioinformatics, biomedical imaging, and multi-omics data).
