Visual AI: From Technological Breakthroughs to Global Products | Fotor × CBAIA
Description
Visual AI is rapidly moving from image recognition and processing to content generation, multimodal understanding, intelligent terminals, and real-world applications. While technological capabilities are constantly being refreshed, the real difficult question remains: How does research become a product? How does an impressive demo enter a user's long-term workflow? As model capabilities gradually become widespread, where does the true lasting competitive advantage of a product come from?On August 1, Fotor and the China-Britain Artificial Intelligence Association (CBAIA) will jointly hold a Chinese sharing and exchange event in London, inviting guests from the fields of computer vision, image processing, generative AI, industrial R&D, and spatial intelligence to discuss the process of visual AI moving from technical breakthroughs to products, market, and real-world applications. This event includes a keynote sharing by Professor Duan Jiang, a panel discussion connecting academic and industrial perspectives, and ample on-site exchanges. In addition to technological trends, we hope to discuss key judgments, turning points, and challenges in research, entrepreneurship, product development, and industry implementation through real experiences and specific cases.KeynoteFrom Image Algorithms to Global AI ProductsFotor founder Professor Duan Jiang will combine years of research, entrepreneurship, and global product practice to share how visual technology moves from research to application and the product evolution, strategic judgments, and globalization explorations experienced by Fotor through different technology cycles. The sharing will focus on the following areas:Panel DiscussionThe Next Stop for Visual AI: Technology, Products, and the Real WorldThe roundtable will connect different perspectives from research, products, industrial R&D, and spatial intelligence to discuss:The discussion will be based on the experiences of the guests, on-site questions, and different viewpoints, rather than aiming for preset conclusions.SpeakersModeratorAgenda14:00 Check-in & Welcome Networking14:20 Opening Remarks14:30 Keynote Presentation + Q&A15:00 Refreshment Break15:10 Panel Discussion + Q&A16:00 Open Networking17:00 Event CloseWho Should AttendThis event is open to all friends interested in AI technology, products, and real applications.Whether you are a researcher, engineer, product manager, designer, entrepreneur, investor, student, or are looking to understand how AI influences creation, business, and daily work, you are welcome to participate. You do not need a professional background in computer vision.
