Entertech Study Club #26
Description
"After Creation, How Does AI Video Become an Industry?" AI video has now moved beyond the question of ‘can it be created?’ to how to create it faster and more reliably, produce it repeatedly, and reach the audience. We have transitioned from an era of creating videos with a single prompt and generative model to production orchestration that connects various AI tools and agents, AI production studios that continuously produce content while maintaining consistency in characters and worldviews, and OTT platforms that connect the explosively increasing content with viewers. In this Entertech Study Club, we will explore how generative AI is reshaping the production and distribution structure of video content with speakers from three different points in the AI video industry. This is an opportunity for not only AI video producers but also content studios, media and entertainment companies, and platform representatives to consider where the future video industry will find its competitiveness. Event Overview Program 1) Beyond the Prompt, Orchestrating AI Video Production Ryu Gi-deok, CEO | Airomix The AI video production landscape is emerging with countless generative models and tools for images, videos, voices, and editing. Today, competitiveness lies not in mastering a single model but in connecting and automating multiple AIs into a singular production process. Focusing on AI video orchestration, we will examine how producers weave together various generative AIs and agents into an actual content production workflow and explore the new production environment of the AI era. 2) How Does AI Video Become a ‘Studio’? Ban Seong-hoon, CEO | Recon Labs Creating one or two impressive AI videos is quite different from continuously producing content while maintaining the same characters and worldviews. Based on Recon Labs’ experience in developing AI-based content production technology, we will discuss how AI video production is evolving into a singular ‘studio system’ by managing consistency in characters and spaces, scene and shot-level production management, and quality control. 3) In an Era Overflowing with Content, What Must OTT Change? Jeon Taek-soo, CPO | Wavve If generative AI significantly lowers content production costs and time, the volume of video content we will encounter in the future could be much greater than it is today. What will be the competitiveness of platforms then? From the OTT perspective, we will discuss changes in user experiences for discovering, choosing, and consuming content, and the new challenges content platforms must tackle in the AI era. The changes in AI video are not just about altering a single production tool. Tools turn into production systems, production systems evolve into studios, and the content produced redefines the role of platforms. In this Entertech Study Club, we will examine how AI video is moving beyond a ‘fascinating demo’ to establish itself as an industry, tracing the flow from production technology to studios and OTT. Following the speaker sessions, there will be a networking event where participants can share and interact in the Entertech Study Club's after-party. We encourage many to participate who are interested in the next stage of the video industry that AI is reshaping.
