A monthly meetup for economists, analysts, and policy folk getting fluent with AI-assisted coding — not to become software engineers, but to ship better analysis, faster prototypes, and sharper policy work. Platform agnostic. Bring whatever AI coding tool you like (or none yet — we’ll help you pick one). Bring a laptop. Bring a problem you’re stuck on, or something you’ve built and want to show off. We’ll vibe code together: pairing with AI assistants, comparing approaches, debugging in the open, and learning by watching others do the same. No prior coding experience required. Whether you’re in APS, a think tank, academia, or curious from the sidelines, you’ll leave with working code, new techniques, and a community figuring this out alongside you.
