Three problems worth your Saturday.Signal Labs builds the AI-native infrastructure that decides what deserves attention: signal processing, hypothesis generation, and automated decision-making at scale.Every company operates a hundred different systems, each generating its own alerts, reports, and dashboards. The information is all there. The models have never been better at reading it. And almost none reach the right person in time to make it matter. This is not an intelligence problem. It’s an architecture problem, and that’s exactly what we’ve decided to solve.On Saturday, August 29, 2026, we’ll open our office in Hyderabad for one day to see what you can build with the same type of problem in front of you. Choose a track, form a team, bring the AI tools you’re fastest with, and deliver something real before the afternoon freezes, then present it live before we close at 6:30 PM.Three tracks, choose oneTokenomics - Design or simulate an incentive mechanism, a token model, or an on-chain economic system, including one where the actors are autonomous AI agents instead of humans, and show why it works well under stress.Distributed Systems - Build something that has to withstand failures, latency, or scaling: a consensus mechanism, a real-time data pipeline, an agent orchestration layer, or an inference path that remains stable during traffic peaks.Platform & SaaS - Build a multi-tenant product, a developer tool, or an AI-native feature: an agent, an automated workflow, a retrieval layer, or an infrastructure primitive.One track per team. Choose on the day; you’re not locked in at registration.WhereHyderabad HITEC City / Financial District. We are currently deciding on the exact venue between our two locations. Register, and we will send you the full address, the floor, and a map pin as soon as it’s confirmed, long before Saturday morning. Both options are located in the corridor of the HITEC City Financial District, so plan your trip for this side of the city.Who can participateAnyone who wants to write code. Students, graduates, fresh graduates, professionals, senior engineers, ML and AI engineers — all are welcome. No CV needs to be reviewed, no CGPA cut-off, no previous hackathon record required. If you build, you belong in the room.When you register, let us know what experience level fits you best: 0–6 months, 3–5 years, or 5+ years of experience. This is not a filter, and it does not separate the competition; everyone works in the same three tracks and will be rated on a leaderboard. We just ask so we can help people find teammates and refer mentors where they are needed.Teams of 2 to 4. Name your team at registration. Solo contributions are also welcome, and if you show up without a team, we will help you find one in the morning. The room holds 50, so registration will close when the spots are full.What you can winCash prizesPaid internships not tied to the leaderboardThe strongest builders we see on the day will receive a 3-month paid internship at the Signal Labs office in Hyderabad, with a real path to converting into a full-time position based on your contribution during this time. This could be an entire team or an individual pulled from any team. You do not need to be placed to get one, and placing does not guarantee one.Roles for professionalsAlready in the workforce? We are hiring in the Hyderabad office, and the quickest way into this conversation is a day watching you build. The same logic applies; the leaderboard is not the filter.All offers follow our standard hiring procedure, including identity and background checks, before they start.What we wish for from your demoTwo things matter more than anything else: how you architected it and whether it solves a real problem.Show us the architecture. Explain the design to us, what the components are, how the data flows between them, what you chose and what you consciously left out, and where it all breaks down. A clear diagram counts more than a polished user interface. Every build has trade-offs; the ability to name yours is the signal we’ll read.Show us the problem. Who has it, what does it cost them today, and what changes when your product exists. "This is broken, here’s the piece we built" beats a clever feature where no one is on the other end.Four criteria. The first two carry the most weight:Five minutes live demo per team. Functionality over polish; we prefer to see a rough thing that works and is well explained than a deck over something that doesn’t work. Bring your architecture on a slide or draw it on the whiteboard. Judges will ask questions about it.
