Practical AI for Real Business Impact Workshop

Whether you’re looking for new ways to meet your workforce needs, strengthen your leadership skills in complex times, better access the talent within Gippsland’s diverse migrant communities, or build a stronger workplace culture, Gippsland Multicultural Services’ Cultural Humility training will give you practical tools to help get you there. This opportunity is being delivered through a collaboration between GMS’ Regional Settlement Support Fund initiative and the Gippsland Regional Partnership’s Migrant Charter, supporting Gippsland businesses to strengthen inclusive employment practice and make better use of the skills and experience already within our region. The program brings real-world experience from both sides of the employment equation. It is co-facilitated by Carmel Riley, Founder of two-time Gippsland Business Awards finalist CRSE Group and now CEO of Gippsland Multicultural Services, and Derya Deniz Demirol, GMS Community Engagement Coordinator and Risk & Governance Lead, who brings eight years’ experience working alongside multicultural communities across Gippsland, including jobseekers and employers. Together, we’ll have the hard conversations and give you practical tools to recognise bias, navigate culturally diverse workplaces, strengthen inclusive leadership and understand how this sits alongside Australian Fair Work and OHS requirements.
