Workshop: Leading with AI
Опис
AI is already in your organization, whether you've sanctioned it or not. The question is no longer what it is, but how we can use it well and where we should say no.This is an executive workshop, not a tech demo. No jargon, no product presentations, no assumption that anyone in the room needs to understand how the technology works. Instead, three hours of honest, practical discussion about the decisions that lie with you: what AI can truly take off your hands, what must remain human, and how to set appropriate guardrails without drowning your team in policies. We will cover the silent costs that never appear in a product demonstration: data, accuracy, environmental impact, workplace anxiety, and fairness. Why the latter two are assessed where the sector is evaluated.Half the value is in the room, not at the front. Expect to talk, challenge, and leave with something written. You will go home with a one-page AI policy document in your own words and a commitment you will have spoken aloud! You will take home:• A decision-making method: the PROVEN model, which starts with the problem, never the tool. Most organizations get this wrong.• Clarity on where AI truly helps: structure, first drafts, review and repetition, and the four things it cannot touch: your voice, your judgment, your relationships, and your values.• A functional definition of 'appropriate': a simple three-step model for low, medium, and high-risk tasks, ensuring that control always matches the risk.• Four questions to test every tool, every task, every Monday: trust, accuracy, data, and value. If a task fails to pass one question, it should not be handled with AI.• A designed one-page AI policy document: six lines covering what you will use it for, what you will never include, who reviews it, what you tell your people, which tools are approved, and when you will review it.• An honest view of the silent costs: data exposure, uncontrolled accuracy, environmental impact, employee trust, and fairness.• A binding action: a single decision, spoken aloud, captured and shared within five working days.Who is it for:Executives, directors, trustees, and managers of social enterprises, charities, and community organizations.
