The Hazards 29 event, organized by the Institution of Chemical Engineers, will take place in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Over 300 professionals in process safety attended, making it the largest annual gathering for process safety in Europe. Around 100 oral presentations and posters were showcased by industry experts, researchers, and regulators. Key speakers included Mike Bell from Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Worldwide Safety and Health and Dame Judith Hackitt, Chair of the EEF. The first panel discussion on hazards was introduced, as well as the new Sam Mannan poster competition. ENGIE Fabricom collaborated with IChemE for this event, highlighting its importance in the process safety calendar.
