Hack The Nest arrives at Eastern Michigan University on November 14 and 15, 2026. This is where it all begins.Join GDG on Campus EMU for an hour covering three key topics: who we are, what Hack The Nest is, and how to actually create something using Google's AI tools.Introduction to GDG on Campus EMUWe are a team of 20, led by five committee heads. In less than five months, we've achieved 13 hackathon victories and represented at Google I/O 2026. If you want to create alongside individuals who take it seriously while still having fun, this is the group for you.Hack The Nest 2026The first flagship hackathon at Eastern Michigan University. With up to 500 students, a 24-hour build period, and completely free entry. We will go over the tracks, the prizes, team dynamics, and how to register. If you’ve never participated in a hackathon before, this is specifically for you.Build with AI: hands-on with GeminiThe second half consists of a live workshop. You’ll create and deploy a small application powered by Gemini on your own laptop, from start to finish, in the room. No prior experience needed and no setup required beforehand. Just bring a laptop and a charger, we’ll take care of the rest.Who should attendAny student, from any field, at any skill level. First-year students and beginners are truly welcome. Designers and business students are encouraged to join, as a hackathon team needs more than just coders.Free to attend. Snacks will be provided.
