The summit will take place on 14th and 15th October 2025 at the University of Algarve – Campus da Penha in Faro, Portugal. The aim is to bring together key stakeholders from various sectors to promote collaboration and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas. The event will feature a high-level conference with renowned speakers addressing emerging challenges and solutions at the intersection of sustainability and technology. An exhibition will showcase innovative solutions, services, and initiatives, providing unique opportunities for networking and business development. Key conference topics will include water management, sustainability, circular economy, mobility, ESG, and sustainable tourism. The summit will address the main challenges in the water sector in Portugal, with a strategic outlook on 2030 and 2050. Discussions will cover the use of data and AI, risks and opportunities in water, energy, and waste management. Applications of quantum computing for resource optimization in water and energy management will be explored. The event includes a pitch ceremony for startups, students, and researchers to present and award the most innovative projects. On 14th October 2025, a scientific masterclass and boat trip to Ria Formosa is planned, led by Professor Manuela Moreira da Silva.
