Frontier Paper Club — NYC Documents. People. Possibilities. How do we know if an AI agent is truly improving? What makes a research result withstand scrutiny beyond its benchmarks? And which ideas are ready to evolve into systems that people can rely on? Frontier Paper Club is a monthly assembly in New York for researchers, engineers, and founders delving into the next generation of AI. Each session focuses on 2–3 documents, benchmarks, or technical implementations chosen around a common research question. Topics encompass AI agents, reinforcement learning, post-training, reasoning, memory, evaluation, and simulation environments. Presentations are succinct and technically solid, allowing ample time to collectively examine the work: the assumptions underlying a method, the robustness of its evidence, the specifics required to replicate it, and the shortcomings that indicate where research should progress next. 🕒 Evening format 5:30pm Arrivals & introductions Meet fellow researchers and builders.
