The ESTAL Congress is a remarkable event that takes place every two years, organized by the European Association for Surface Treatment on Aluminium, and is set to be held at The Met Hotel in Thessaloniki, Greece. This congress serves as a central meeting point for professionals in the European aluminium surface treatment industry and focuses on the latest trends.

Structured around four strategic pillars: European competitiveness and EU legal framework; innovations in resource efficiency and industrial emissions; innovative products and finishing processes; surface treatment of recycled aluminium. Approximately 20 esteemed speakers and 12 hours of sessions. About 150 participants from the aluminium surface treatment industry are expected. Organized by ESTAL, based in Brussels, and takes place every two years. The MET Hotel in Thessaloniki was chosen due to its innovative environment and cultural significance. The Call for Papers invites abstracts by May 16, 2025, on topics such as European competitiveness, sustainability, and innovative technologies. The program includes sessions on EU legislation regarding industrial emissions, decarbonization, and sustainable chemicals. Discussions on reducing energy and water consumption, as well as emissions into air and water. Exploration of artificial intelligence applications in aluminium surface treatment.
