Join us for an evening with two excellent speakers, two short talks, and plenty of time to talk afterwards. Mike Bowling opens the evening with What should models model in model-based RL?, and we're glad to have him visit us again here in Prague. He's a professor at the University of Alberta and one of the people behind DeepStack, the first AI to beat human professionals at heads-up no-limit Texas hold'em, work he did together with researchers from Charles University and CTU right here in Prague. He also led the development of the Arcade Learning Environment, which turned Atari games into the standard testbed for reinforcement learning research. Agustin Lebron follows with From pigeons to FPGAs: The history of speed in financial markets, the story of how traders kept finding faster ways to know things first. Agustin is one of our own at EquiLibre. He began his career as a trader and researcher at Jane Street Capital and he's also the author of The Laws of Trading. Talks start at 18:30.
