Then everyone moves on before most of us have had the chance to understand what actually happened.Distill Zero is a space to slow things down.We are bringing together a small group of researchers, ML engineers, students, founders, and builders in Chennai to read and unpack influential AI research papers together.No polished conference talks. No pretending to understand every equation.Just someone walking the room through a paper, explaining the core idea, breaking down the architecture, looking closely at the experiments, and opening it up for discussion.Expect diagrams, questions, disagreements, alternative interpretations, and the occasional detour when the conversation gets more interesting than the slides.How the evening worksEach paper gets:20 minutes for the presentation10 minutes for questions and open discussionWe will look at things like:The group will stay intentionally small, so there is enough room for everyone to ask questions, challenge ideas, and contribute without it turning into a conference-style Q&A.Who is this for?Distill Zero is for people who enjoy going beyond the headline result.Researchers, ML engineers, graduate students, technical founders, builders, and anyone trying to build a serious habit of reading AI papers are welcome.You do not need to understand every equation before showing up.
