Café Cursor Barranquilla is a relaxed meetup for developers and builders who want to share how they are using AI to write better code. Join a conversation over coffee, exchange tips and workflows, and learn from what others are already applying in their day-to-day. We will have two conversation moments throughout the day: At 4:00 p.m. — Rules and context engineering in Cursor: how to stop fighting with AI. We will discuss how to set your rules by project, bring the right context with @ (files, docs, codebase) and move from using Cursor as a glorified autocomplete to really benefiting from it as a true programming pair. At 7:00 p.m. — Agent mode vs. writing the code yourself: where is the line? A more debated conversation: when it's worth handing a complete task to the agent, when it could backfire in production, and how to review and trust code you didn't write. Coffees are on Cursor, so come ready to enjoy a good cup and an even better conversation. This is an open space to connect with people who are actively building with AI tools, sharing real experiences and taking away practical habits that you can apply in your own projects. It doesn’t matter if you are just starting with AI-assisted development or if you already have a solid set of workflows: there’s always something to gain by listening to how others do it.
