Across two presentations, attendees will learn how to design coordinated multi-agent systems while establishing the guardrails needed to use them securely and responsibly. Architecting multi-agent solutions Varsha Mahesh will explore how Copilot Studio can be used to create intelligent, purpose-built agents, and how multiple agents can work together as resilient, scalable systems inside an organisation. The session’s “Copilot Cookbook” will move progressively through different approaches to agent development, covering: Low-code methods for building agents The path from low-code implementations to fully custom agent engines Coordinating agents within a multi-agent solution Copilot Studio compared with the Microsoft 365 Agents Toolkit Architectural considerations for scalable, organisation-wide adoption Copilot City: Agents, Anarchy & the Law Emma-Claire Shaw and Keith Atherton will examine the tension between fast experimentation and effective governance. Their session follows two contrasting characters: Keith, a rapid Copilot Studio builder focused on solving real problems, and Emma, a governance specialist concerned with data leakage, compliance and agents interacting with sensitive systems. Grounded in experience of organisations implementing Copilot Studio, the presentation will consider how teams can encourage innovation without allowing AI adoption to become an uncontrolled risk.
