Through years of building prototypes and testing AI use cases directly within cantonal departments, the Canton of Zurich gained many insights into where we actually benefit from AI, where data readiness falls short and what end users truly need. Now, with a proven portfolio of successful use cases and clear operational demands, the Canton faces its next critical step: moving from isolated prototypes to a scalable and secure AI infrastructure and bringing applications into production.
