The Canton of Basel-Landschaft is preparing for the broader use of artificial intelligence in cantonal administration. In this session, we will provide an insight into the central AI projects for the coming year. These include the establishment of a shared AI base platform, the further development of the technical infrastructure for AI applications, and the creation of suitable governance and security foundations.In addition to these fundamental prerequisites, concrete AI applications will be discussed, as well as the question of how artificial intelligence can be deployed in administration in a meaningful, safe, and as sovereign as possible way.
