AI Riser Vietnam x LotusHacks

Build and submit a working AI product in one afternoon at AI Riser Vietnam x LotusHacks, taking place in Ho Chi Minh City on 22 August 2026. Presented by Google for Developers and LotusHacks, this in-person workshop and build day is part of AI Riser Vietnam 2026, a nationwide innovation jam helping Vietnam’s next generation of builders turn ideas into practical products with Google AI. ## What you’ll do Across the six-hour session, participants will move from early-stage concept to submitted project. The programme combines practical instruction, hands-on building, interactive activities and direct support from Google technical experts and mentors. You’ll learn how to: - Identify an idea worth building and shape it into a useful product - Define a target audience and decide which features to prioritise - Build with Google AI Studio and other Google AI tools - Get one-to-one technical guidance while developing your project - Complete and submit a project during the event The day will also include group activities and a closing mini-game, with free food and drinks provided. Organisers expect around 400 builders, creating an opportunity to meet other students, developers, designers, founders and AI enthusiasts while actively working on something new. ## Awards and opportunities Every submission will count towards the wider AI Riser innovation jam. Projects can qualify for leaderboard rewards: - Silver, Top 500: digital certification and Silver Tier swag - Gold, Top 50: digital certification, Gold Tier swag and exclusive mentorship - Platinum, Top 10: certification, Platinum Tier swag, exclusive mentorship and a showcase opportunity Participants may also receive an online certificate, exclusive merchandise and other rewards through the programme. ## Who should attend? The event welcomes students, developers, founders, designers, small and medium-sized businesses, and aspiring AI builders. It is suitable both for beginners creating their first AI project and experienced makers interested in exploring Google AI tools and new workflows.
