From Autocomplete To Agents: Zencoder & Zenflow On Real Work

Autocomplete was the easy part. This is an in-person evening about what comes after it: agents that pick up a task, work through it, and hand you something you can actually review. The team behind Zencoder and Zenflow demos both products live on real work, with no slideware and no pre-recorded runs. Zencoder is where the work starts, with AI coding agents inside VS Code and JetBrains. Zenflow takes it further, running agents beyond a single editor session so they can carry a task from start to finish. We will run live on a real repository: an agent picks up a ticket, plans, edits, runs tests and opens a pull request. From there we get into the things that decide whether this works in practice. How to steer an agent mid task instead of restarting it, and how that changes the way you prompt. How to run several agents in parallel without them stepping on each other. Where the human still belongs, which for us means review, sizing the risk of a change, and the classes of change we never let an agent merge on its own. We will also cover the honest parts. What breaks, what we had to redesign, where agents still lose to a person, and how a fully distributed engineering team re-organised itself around agent first work. Who should come: developers and engineering leads who are evaluating or already running AI coding agents, and people building AI agents and developer tools.
