The forum's theme is 'Industry 5.0: The Power of Connection', focusing on the integration of AI, robotics, and big data to enhance efficiency and address sustainable development challenges. Digital Qazaqstan 2026 marks the transformation of the Digital Almaty platform into a national technology forum, aiming to foster innovation and digital economy growth across Kazakhstan. The event will feature a plenary session, panel discussions, exhibitions of IT companies and startups, technological competitions, and the Digital Qazaqstan Awards ceremony. The Central Asia Programming Championship, a sports programming tournament for participants aged 20 and above from Central Asian countries, will be held as part of the forum. Decentrathon 5.0, Kazakhstan's largest IT hackathon, will launch during the forum, bringing together technology communities from 20 cities. The forum aims to unite government bodies, businesses, investors, startups, and technology teams to drive the country's technological agenda. Shymkent, a rapidly developing city with high industrial and technological potential, was strategically chosen to host the inaugural Digital Qazaqstan forum. The event will include the Digital Qazaqstan Awards, recognizing significant achievements in digital and information technologies. The forum is organized by the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Shymkent city administration, and Astana Hub. The program includes business sessions, expert discussions, presentations of technological solutions, and industry formats aimed at the development of digitalization and industry.
