Build, secure, scale: developers and builders in the agentic era DevFest Surrey 2026 is a hands-on, all-day technical event hosted by GDG Surrey, bringing together developers, builders, and AI-curious professionals to learn and build with Google's latest AI and cloud tools - Gemini, Agent Development Kit, BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Antigravity. The day runs across three parallel tracks, so you can go as deep as you want: Beginner - get hands-on with Gemini on GKE, learn how to turn messy data into an AI-ready foundation, and build a conversational analytics experience from multimodal data. No prior AI experience needed. Intermediate - a connected, three-part journey through building, evaluating, and securing a real multi-agent system from the ground up. Advanced - push further with Gemma 4 and BigQuery MCP, end-to-end fraud-detection pipelines with Antigravity IDE, and secure agentic coding practices. Every session is a hands-on codelab. Bring a laptop, pick your track, and leave with something you actually built. Who should come: developers, data practitioners, product builders, and anyone curious about where AI development is headed - whatever your starting point.
