โš ๏ธ Can't join this one? Follow our Luma calendar using the link below to get notified about upcoming workshops and events: https://luma.com/co-workand This workshop is for designers who already know Figma. We are not teaching design, and we are not teaching Figma. You have a polished frame in Figma. Turning it into something people can click, test, and react to still means waiting on someone else, or spending a weekend fighting code yourself. In this workshop you'll connect Claude Code to Figma, take a real design frame, and build it into a working interface. Then you'll do the part that actually matters: critique what came out, spot where it drifted from your design, and iterate with better constraints until it holds up. You'll work on a prepared Figma file with a real design system, so nobody loses time deciding what to build. Everyone builds the same thing, together. ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Agenda 17:00 ยท Doors open Grab a drink, settle in, meet the other attendees. We start at 17:30 sharp. 17:30 ยท Claude Code for designers How the tool works: projects, context, instructions, permissions, and safe changes. Then connect Figma and scope Claude Code to a single frame. 18:25 ยท Guided build Turn the supplied frame into a running interface. Short teaching blocks, then you build, in three passes from simple to complex. 19:00 ยท Critique and improve Compare the output against Figma. Find the gaps in hierarchy, spacing, typography, and states. Add design-system context and iterate deliberately. 20:00 ยท Q&AAsk Hooman anything: what broke, what surprised you, what to try next. 20:30 ยท Open networkingDrinks, conversation, and time to connect with the room. We keep the group deliberately small so there's real hands-on support for everyone. ๐Ÿš€ What You'll Walk Away With ๐ŸŽฏ Who It's For You should be comfortable building polished interface work in Figma and explaining your layout, hierarchy, states, and interaction choices. This is not for you if you're looking to learn UX/UI fundamentals or Figma basics, or if you're expecting one-click, production-ready design-to-code. No prior Claude Code experience needed. Curiosity about working in a terminal is enough. ๐ŸŽ’ What You'll Need We'll send pre-workshop resources 7 to 10 days ahead: a short setup guide, the Figma workshop file, the starter project, and a terminal safety sheet. There's also an optional 20-minute online setup clinic a few days before, for anyone who hits trouble. ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Speaker & Host Hooman Abbasi (Expert Speaker) Design Lead and Design Strategist in Berlin, where he leads a multidisciplinary design team and helps early-stage startups build the product design that gets them to Series A. His background is in engineering and human-computer interaction, and he has spent years leading UX teams, building design systems, and mentoring more than 3,000 designers. He writes and speaks about how AI is reshaping the product designer's role, from pixel-pushing toward strategy and problem framing. This workshop is that argument made practical. Vidushi (Host & Organiser) Brand & Communication Strategist turned non-technical founder who built SocialFlo, an AI-powered content platform, using Claude Code. With 7+ years across social media, brand, and influencer marketing, she now runs 'Co-Work &', a community for ambitious people who want to learn AI in a practical, hands-on way.Vidushi brings the hands-on format and practical support to help you get comfortable with Claude Code. Hooman brings the product design expertise, from design systems to critique and strategic thinking. Together, you get the technical guidance and design-specific feedback you need to build, iterate, and think like an AI-native product designer. ๐Ÿ“Œ Important Notes ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event; after that, they're non-refundable. A 5% cancellation fee applies to all refunds (Early Bird and Standard). ๐Ÿ’ก Many attendees are able to expense their ticket through their company's learning or professional development budget. If you need an invoice, just let us know and we'll be happy to provide one. ๐Ÿ“ธ Photos will be taken during the event for community and promotional use. By signing up, you agree to be photographed. If youโ€™d prefer not to appear in any photos, please let us know before the event.๐Ÿ“ Event location: The exact location will be shared with attendees before the workshop and updated here soon.
