תיאור

If AI can find your writing, can it actually use it well? That question is becoming part of the writer’s job. In this webinar, we’ll explore information retrieval and evals – the systems that shape what AI finds, what it considers relevant, and whether the information it returns is actually useful. We’ll connect these ideas back to the work writers already do: structure information, establish context, reduce ambiguity, and help people make sense of complex things."Join Danielle as she unpacks Information Retrieval and Evals, two ideas that are quickly becoming essential for anyone working with information. We will take a look at how AI systems find, interpret, and judge written content, and what is changing for writers across documentation, content, education, and knowledge work. What You'll Learn About the Speaker Danielle Washington is a technical writer who is mildly obsessed with one question: what makes information actually useful? Her work explores the space between writing, AI, and decision-making – especially how people and systems find the right information, evaluate it, and use it to move forward. She writes about decision-driven documentation, information retrieval, and the evolving role of writers in AI-powered products. She’s worked across big tech, startups, AI infrastructure, and currently contracting with a frontier AI lab. She believes the future of writing is less about producing more content and more about designing better systems for understanding and action.
