Welcome to the keynote panel of the Global Negotiation Conference 2024, focusing on 'Negotiating the Governance of Emerging Technologies'. This panel is hosted by the Chair of Political Philosophy and the Chair of International Relations and Political Economy at the University of Zurich, exploring the balance between innovation and regulation in global AI governance.

The International Conference on Science, Engineering Management and Information Technology 2024 (ODSIE se2024) aims to provide a platform for the transfer of information, experience, and scientific research findings regarding the latest theoretical and practical advancements in engineering management and IT, applicable in research and industry.

Professor Claudia Clopath leads the Computational Neuroscience Laboratory in the Bioengineering Department at Imperial College London. Her research focuses on the intricacies of learning and memory in neuroscience, utilizing sophisticated mathematical and computational tools to model synaptic plasticity.

With an impressive academic background, Claudia holds an MSc in Physics from EPFL and earned her PhD in Computer Science. She has further honed her expertise with postdoctoral fellowships in neuroscience at Paris Descartes and Columbia University.
